She just quit, the second backup singer/dancer to quit in the past few years. They can't possibly replace her. It's worth noting that the original song lyrics and performance concept were by Magdalene Veen, the last dancer/singer, and also that Herr Drosselmeyer and his clockwork doll are characters from the Nutcracker.
