Call it downturn diaspora. Artist Mike Leavitt’s solo show “Don’t Stop Object Shopping” opens this month at Fuse Gallery in New York. Leavitt’s cardboard shoes will be installed like a thrift shop, and he’ll also show the “Homeless Executive House”, a cardboard sleeping unit with a miniature scale facade of the New York Stock Exchange. I like these guys actually wearing their cardboard Nikes while they play basketball and video games.
