In planning the Mer-chan Studio, we’re in talks with an energy consultant. A solar studio seems more and more likely, and we learned from the Solar Decathlon it’s pretty stylish too. And it doesn’t look like the weight of a green roof will collapse on top of all the Mer-chan toys.

2. Hey Beth and everyone who’s asked! The studio will be public this Fall, fingers crossed. I’m in California right now, then Scandinavia and maybe a trip to Dubai but the D.C. studio visits will resume in the Fall! xoxokt
