Congratulations to the happy couple who held the first ever legal Hello Kitty Wedding in Hong Kong. The groom has the slighty-funny-if-you-think-it’s-a-girl’s-name name of Jaime, and the bride has the now-that’s-just-a-shame name of Horlick. She’s pretty, for a Horlick.

“[The bide and groom] would also like to thank the MTR Corporation and Sanrio Wave HK Company Limited for creating 5 “fires-ever-records†[sic] for this wedding ceremony:
1. First-ever legally valid MTR wedding in Hong Kong.
2. First-ever Hello Kitty Wedding Garment in Hong Kong.
3. First-ever wedding hall in an MTR Station in Hong Kong.
4. First-ever Hello Kitty Wedding Train in Hong Kong.
5. First-ever bridesmaid and best man by Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel in Hong Kong.”
Badtz Maru, the notorious leader of the mischievous XO Gang, jumped out of the wedding cake and robbed the guests of shiny plastic beads and genuine faux electroplated jewels in classic crime caper fashion. He was foiled by Miffy but then Hello Ktty called her a euro-trash imitator and cut her. All hell broke loose again, adorably.
