Angel Chang’s show at the Spring 2007 Fashion Week in New York City had fashion with a dash of technology. Chang’s program read, “While our roles and lifestyles have changed drastically over the last 40 years, the structure of our clothing, oddly, has not.”
Although limited (she only showed seven looks) there were some good ideas with clothes that were at times romantic and at other times sporty. A floaty tunic dress showed its brains by changing colors according to the temperature of the wearer — its a hypercolor tee for adults. A raincoat glowed with light. A dayglo jacket strategically placed pockets to house ipods and cell phones.
